Mateusz Baca - new leader of the Laboratory of Paleogenetics and Conservation Genetics

On October 1, 2025, Mateusz Baca has ben appointed as the group leader of the Laboratory of Paleogenetics and Conservation Genetics at the Centre of New Technologies, University of Warsaw.

President of Poland at CeNT

On 29 August, Karol Nawrocki, President of the Republic of Poland, met with rectors of Polish universities and representatives of science and business at the University of Warsaw. At the New Technologies Centre on the Ochota Campus, the President signed a draft bill on the Breakthrough Technology Development Fund.

New lab at CeNT: Laboratory of Neuroeconomics

Laboratory of Neuroeconomics, led by Dr. Alicja Puścian, aims at understanding how the brain shapes economic decisions in a social context. It is the first scientific lab in Poland to conduct integrated research on the neural foundations of social influence on decision-making.

New lab at CeNT: Organic Electronics Laboratory

The work of the Organic Electronics Laboratory, led by Dr. Przemysław Gaweł, focuses on the design of carbon-rich “molecular building blocks” that combine organic chemistry with modern electronics.
