What can this week’s Nobel Prize winners in science and technology teach us about innovation? All laureates embody the pursuit of human progress and a better future. But beyond their vocations, three things stand out: • Most of the nine science and tech laureates have filed patent applications during their careers. • Together, they are listed as applicants or inventors on around 200 international patent applications filed through WIPO's Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) that inventors use to seek patent protection in foreign markets. • They are all working in teams, showing that innovation thrives when bright minds collaborate. You can use WIPO’s PATENTSCOPE database to find some of their patent applications: https://lnkd.in/dU6Xk8Je. Congratulations to all laureates – and our cheers to all inventors and creators who are shaping a better future every day. 🙌 Photos: Ill.
