2025 Falmouth Road Race

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re once again participating in the Falmouth Road Race as a Race Benefactor! This marks our second year running, and after the amazing success of last year’s event, we’re more excited than ever. The race is our largest fundraiser of the year, and the funds raised go directly toward purchasing food and personal care items for our clients in need. Every step our team takes brings us closer to building a stronger, more supported community!

We are nominated for the Best Nonprofit Organization in the Myfm 101.3 Quest for the Best and we need your votes! You can vote daily for your favorite local businesses and organizations through May 30th!

Empty Bowls 2025

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our very first Empty Bowls event—it was a tremendous success!

A special shoutout to Noelle Jackson, MHS Art Teacher, and her talented students for crafting the beautiful handmade bowls that gave the evening its unique charm. A big thank you as well to Charles River Bank for generously sponsoring the event! We also deeply appreciate Allegra Marketing Print and Mail for providing the stunning print materials and posters.

We’re thrilled with the incredible turnout and already excited to begin planning next year’s event.

The House voted to gut SNAP, Tell the Senate to Stop Them!

SNAP helps nearly 42 million Americans afford groceries each month. SNAP is a lifeline for children, seniors, veterans, and low-wage workers across the nation. With food prices continuing to rise and many families making impossible choices between food and other important essentials, any reduction in SNAP would take food off their tables.

Making a Difference

Volunteer Spotlight

We were thrilled when JuanManuel emailed and asked what opportunities we had for volunteers. He has been an awesome asset to our team and his bilingual skills are invaluable, helping us connect more meaningfully with a wider part of our community.

“I moved to the New England area about four years ago, and to Medway three years ago. Since I did not know anyone in the area I thought it best to volunteer my time in order to meet local people and help out my new community.

I volunteer and continue to share my time because I enjoy working with the people at MVFP. Everyone is so welcoming and inviting, it is easy to keep coming back. There is something special in the air there and it is great to be able to contribute to the community.”

Thank you JuanManuel!

Community Partner Spotlight

Charles River Bank has long been an integral part of the Medway community, and we were absolutely thrilled when they came on board as a sponsor for our very first Empty Bowls event. Their strong commitment to community partnership played a key role in making the event a success—helping us raise vital awareness and funds in the fight against hunger. We’re deeply grateful for their dedication to making a real difference in Medway and the surrounding towns. Thank you, Charles River Bank, for helping us fill bowls and hearts!
