Right now, one of the issues that UNIT3D-based trackers like AITHER is that there is nothing but a description box for screenshots and that has to be filled in by hand or automated with a script. If the screenshots are done in any way incorrectly, like not being in the right thumbnail size or ratio, the staff has to contact the user to get them fixed and this wastes staff time that could have been saved by making UNIT3D smarter at accepting screenshots.
Rather, UNIT3D should streamline the process for users by having a dedicated screenshot section in the upload page that:
- Tells the users how many screenshots the tracker requires (2, 3, 4, whatever)
- Giving users the appropriate number of screenshot text fields to paste in direct links to the required screenshots.
- Auto-formats the screenshots for the torrent page in the correct thumbnail size, how they are displayed, etc.
Basically, UNIT3D should only ask uploaders for X number of direct links to screenshots and UNIT3D should do the rest instead of requiring BB-code formatting, etc.
