Would it be possible to get some metadata in the colour scheme files (e.g. https://github.com/IPCC-WG1/colormaps/blob/master/categorical_colors_rgb_0-255/ssp_cat_1.txt)? The current list cannot be read in an automated way because there's no information about what each line is (so you have to look it up manually anyway).
