Releases: LumKitty/LIVnyan

v1.2

09 Nov 20:48

  • Fixed an issue where calling _lum_liv_enable would fail if the plugin had not previously been enabled using the button (oops)
  • Moved camera position updates into LateUpdate() with a high execution order, in order to ensure that updates are sent on the same frame
  • Added a new "Cursed Camera" delay feature. This will intercept VNyan camera position updates and send them to LIV, but then delay VNyan actually applying the update itself. This means that if you have had to set a delay in the LIV video feed, you can avoid the issue where camera movements cause your model to moved ahead of the game world
This can be set in LIVnyan.cfg or passed as a parameter (Value1) to _lum_liv_enable

v1.1

This release should resolve hand alignment with objects, weapons etc. (e.g. sabers in Beat Saber)

Changes:

  • When LIVnyan is enabled, disable "Use Physical Camera" on VNyan's main camera.

While this resolves the alignment issue, it will cause your model to appear slightly zoomed out in VNyan while LIVnyan is active. You may need to adjust your camera angles, but most users will not need to as yout game will look identical to before, your VTuber will simply be positioned more accurately within the game

v1.0

After several weeks of testing I am bumping RC2 to final 1.0 release, to celebrate being added to the VNyan resource browser

Changes:

  • Renamed plugin button from "Lumkitty's Camera Sync" to "LIVnyan" (cosmetic change)
  • Updated info in the "details" tab of each DLL (cosmetic change)
  • Renamed the memory mapped file to end in v1.0 instead of v1.0-RC2 (mostly cosmetic, but prevents comms between beta and release versions)

If you are running v1.0-RC2 there is no compelling reason to upgrade.
If you are upgrading from a beta version: Please delete VNyan-LIV.vnobj from your VNyan\Items\Assemblies folder

Please ensure you replace both the LIV and VNyan DLLs as they will not communicate between different versions

v1.0-RC2

v1.0-RC2 Pre-release
Pre-release

If you are upgrading from a beta version. Please delete VNyan-LIV.vnobj from your VNyan\Items\Assemblies folder

Performance improvement:

  • Disable GameObject to prevent per-frame updates without needing to check if Enabled = false

Code quality improvements:

  • Removed embedded VNObj - now we create one at runtime
  • Use shared constants for bit comparisons
  • Removed a lot of cruft and unneeded code
  • Don't create shared memory until it's needed

v1.0-RC1

v1.0-RC1 Pre-release
Pre-release

If you are upgrading from any previous version. Please delete VNyan-LIV.vnobj from your VNyan\Items\Assemblies folder

QOL changes

  • Log control
  • Auto start
  • Embedded VNobj in main DLL
  • Shared settings between both DLLs (controlled by VNyan)
  • Shared static properties between both DLLs (at compile time)

Fixed logging at the LIV end

v0.3-beta Pre-release
Pre-release

I forgot to include the VNObj file in v0.3!

v0.3a is the exact same DLL, but with the missing file included.
If you upgraded from v0.1 you already have the VNObj file so don't need to replace 0.3 with 0.3a

Changes from v0.1

Protocol changed (ensure you are running the same version of both plugins)
Only send camera update packets when necessary
Regular POS (camera position) update no-longer includes FOV
Separate FOV packet for camera FOV updates
New POV packet, combined POS and FOV
LIV-plugin will send an update request to VNyan when it initialises
IP address and port are now configurable (though I'm not sure where LIV plugin settings are kept)
Logging is disabled by default, but can be enabled

v0.1-alpha
