What feature would you like to see?

For MacOS build, have the ImHex application define and use its own UTIs for its application-specific file types like pattern files and project files.

How will this feature be useful to you and others?

This would allow MacOS users to double-click a pattern or project file in Finder, and have that file automatically opened just as if it were directly opened from ImHex.

It would also make the Finder document type show up as something more informative than "document".

With some extra work--I don't know how much--a QuickLook .appex could also be implemented that would allow pattern files to be previewed from Finder.

Not being a Mac developer myself, and as this is such an OS-specific request, I realize it may not be practical to implement.
