The faf-cli is the core engine powering claude-faf-mcp for Claude Desktop, which was officially accepted into the Anthropic MCP Registry on October 17, 2025.

What happened

PR #2759 was merged into the official Model Context Protocol registry at https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/servers

This means Anthropic has validated and approved the .faf format and its implementation as infrastructure-level AI context tooling.
