As mentioned in an aside to issue #132 (which was closed because the base issue reported had been fixed), Xyce rawfiles don't insert by default any indicator that Xyce is the program that created them (they can be told to insert a non-standard "Version:" string with netlist options, but some readers don't recognize that string and puke on it).
It was mentioned in #132 that having all Xyce rawfiles contain a "Command:" line identifying them as Xyce rawfiles would be helpful to those writing SPICE rawfile readers, such as spicelib.
I think that side issue got forgotten because the main issue of #132 was in fact properly addressed and the issue closed.
I'm opening this to keep the side issue live, since I was just browsing spicelib and see that they had addressed some other issues that were brought up in #132 (the fact that older Xyce rawfiles had junk in them when sensitivity was run, and that spicelib couldn't actually handle Xyce's ASCII format rawfiles).
