The latest release removed a lot of functionality from the web interface. It did add something though: A comparison table between the Community Edition and AiStore. This table lists Site Replication as one of the Intended Use cases for Production Use of AiStore. Should we expect that the site replication feature will be removed from the community edition? |

Hey @fm9000 All core MinIO features remain accessible via the CLI - our comparison chart reflects our belief that entities deploying MinIO in Production workloads should engage their software dependencies in licensing and support contracts. The ability for someone to deploy and maintain MinIO in production without support does not circumvent nor change our guidance that your data is important enough to have SLA-based guarantees and support. It would be the same for choice of OS, security/KMS, etc. |

What is a "core" feature? I can't find any article or matrix where this is clarified. The same way the Console is apparently no longer considered a "core" feature, what's stopping MinIO from deciding that, for example, "Site-Replication" will no longer be a "core" feature either? |

@ravindk89 You guys do realize, that many people who use minio are hobbiest right? After this change I and most others will look for alternatives and definitly not recommend to use minio in a business context. |

What you maxbe forgot, if you remove stuff from the UI, you may lose the potential customers who are impressed how easy it was. Enterprise customers most probably touch the UI not once because of automation. Just my two cents... |
