Why not archive the Community Edition? #21667

Why don't you already deliver the final blow, archive the community edition, and put it out of its misery instead of giving it a slow and painful death? Given how things are going, it would be best to archive it and let the community know that from now on, either fork it or know you are using discontinued software. How much further do you need to show you hate your open source community users and wish they had stopped using your software? This whole ordeal from the past months from taking out the admin UI, then removing community edition docs from your page, not distributing binaries or images and declaring it in maintenance mode feels like when a bad manager wants to fire an employee by making their life the hardest at work, giving them bad shifts and what not, to see if the employee decides to quit on his own. |

MinIO is a source-only distribution and is meant to remain that way for the near future. |
