Change the filter method naming convention to use only "."

Using "_" as well as "." can be confusing, as the naming convention of the filter methods will not be the same from one filter to the other.

Suggested:

Change the names of the filters from, for eg., `FSelector_gain.ratio` to `FSelector.gain.ratio`
