Brief summary

Currently, it is not possible to turn the AI Image Captioner on or off while the Screen Curtain is enabled.

Steps to reproduce

1. Start NVDA.
2. Enable the Screen Curtain.
3. Try turning the AI Image Captioner on or off.

Actual behavior

You will hear the message: "Action unavailable while screen curtain is enabled".

Expected behavior

• If the Screen Curtain is enabled and the AI Image Captioner is currently on, this message should not appear. Instead, the AI Image Captioner should turn off without issue.
• If the Screen Curtain is enabled and the AI Image Captioner is currently off, then it’s fine to show this message, since enabling the captioner while the screen curtain is active doesn’t make sense.

Workaround

You can temporarily disable the Screen Curtain, then turn off the AI Image Captioner, and re-enable the curtain afterward.
