Some quick notes, -cpu vs zluda almost 12x or more for me , rx 6600. -Lowering depth resolution to 384 -the lowest possible, give at least %15-20 speed boost. Try it with default, 512 or 384 and decide. -Almost all the options work : Edge Fix, Flicker Reduction , Low Vram, TTA, FP16, Stream. -Depth Batch Size and Worker Threads have some small speed changes but if you make them too high -single one too high or between two of them- it just gives out of memory. Just run with default or experiment. Didn't see any dramatic speed increase -maybe its just my lowly 8 gb rx 6600- |

I haven't tried it myself, but I heard that iw3 works with the official amd rocm pytorch on windows WSLγ#166 I have placed requirements-torch-rocm.txt for that. |

Doesn't work for me, running iw3z.bat after install does nothing. |

I just want to say a quick thank you for supporting us underprivileged ;) AMD GPU users. I hope you'll stay on track with future IW3 updates. |

Thanks @patientx for the report on this working with zluda. I am the one who gave the post about how to get iw3 working in WSL. I probably will stick to that for now since it seems that issues in zluda make not all features in iw3 work, whereas they all work in WSL. If you ever try out WSL, I'd be curious if that works for you and maybe even if there is any speed difference (if you have the patience for such testing... sometimes all we want to do is just use the program, haha). |

I tried running iw3 with zluda using depth-anything v2 small model on my AMD computer, and the output is the same in both views. It also gives me the warning "rocBLAS warning: No paths matched C:\Program Files\AMD\ROCm\5.7\bin\rocblas\librarygfx90cco. Make sure that ROCBLAS_TENSILE_LIBPATH is set correctly." |

I say on the first post the manual patching is out of date : And in the github readme this is what I wrote regarding installation : (I don't mention any other batch files etc.) I understand you might assume you have to use those installers but they are from the original repo and I just clone and build upon it, the original files remain, doesn't mean everything should be used. And regarding using newer hip, I build everything on 5.7.1 - torch 2.3.0 - zluda 3.8.4 combo. This is the same on my comfyui-zluda fork and other forks as well. That doesn't mean one can't use other hip or torch or zluda versions, just that my current setup works with those three particularly but people can change the versions make additions etc. |

Edit: so after restoring the modded rocblas dll to the bin folder and restarting, distill any b still hung. so i used any v2 s and it downloaded and succeeded. then i re-selected distill any b, NOW distill any b works but only after that. double slants are NOT necessary. the hip_path_62 that was created by itself is also not needed. maybe it renamed itself when i had 5.2 installed. but now that i dont have that, it's not necessary. |

this doesnt work when graphics card is selected with this. only seems to work on cpu mode. but it looks flatter to me anyway so dont worry about it yet until that's sorted out |

I now am getting this response when I try to run the gui with zluda: OSError: [WinError 126] The specified module could not be found. Error loading "C:\Users<username>\nunif-amd\venv\lib\site-packages\torch\lib\caffe2_nvrtc.dll" or one of its dependencies. When I look at the folder they list, the file is clearly there. |

I tried a different library from likelovewant's repo for my gpu (gfx1012 as far as I know) that I thought would work. It runs (albeit after hanging a while on "0/0 images"), but the output is the same in both left and right views. |

hi, i've completed a fresh install. when i boot iw3, the conversions start fine if I select CPU but if I select my 7800xt, it hangs at "loading model..." I've tried both HIP 6.2 & HIP 6.4 and amended HIP and PATH accordingly but it's not working. Any help would be appreciated. I'm so close to selling this GPU and buying a RTX!!! |

!!! UPDATED to latest version as the original , PLEASE DELETE HIP, PATHS, NUNIF-AMD FOLDER ENTIRELY AND RE-INSTALL FROM SCRATCH !!!
It is now on-par with this original, I've switched to using torch 2.7 and hip 6.2.4 because almost no patches are now needed for models to make them work like previously.
So it is now using Hip 6.2.4 & latest torch 2.7 , it is patched with latest zluda so it works with amd's latest gpu driver -previous zluda versions had some problems with this latest driver-
https://github.com/patientx/nunif-amd
You will only need to install HIP, put your libraries -if necessary- and check PATH's. It will do all the rest patching, downloading, editing files etc.
A fresh install is recommended, although running installzludaforamd.bat would also won't hurt and it will install updated modules as well. It won't touch previously installed stuff so it should be quick.
This is the "upcoming" native torch packages for amd so we won't need zluda in-between.
The ones installed below only work for these gpu's however so if you don't have those use the default installer.
[This is ONLY for rx 6800 - 6800 xt - 6900 xt - 6900 xtx - 6700 and variants - 7900gre - 7900 xtx - 7900 xt - 7950 - 7990 variants - 7700 - 7700 xt - 7800 xt -7500 - 7600 - 7650] , no 6600 sorry.
ok first make a copy of your "pretrained_models" inside iw3 folder to somewhere else.
completely delete the folder , you will reinstall everything.
git clone https://github.com/patientx/nunif-amd
download and extract the files inside the nunif-amd folder.
nunif-amd-rock.zip
run install-for-amd-2.bat
and to run the app later use iw3z-t.bat
