Revamp 'Age calculator' and add link on LORIS #8367

@SantiagoTG

Description

@SantiagoTG

The current IBIS 'Age calculator' page (https://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/autism/Age_calc/age_calculator.html) is outdated and could benefit from an upgrade whereupon not only can the 'Date of Birth' be entered but also modify the expected range for the 'Optimal' and 'Permitted' visit windows. This upgraded 'Age Calculator' page could be of overall benefit for all studies, hence a direct link from the LORIS dashboard, the 'Candidate' menu, or the 'New Profile' page, would give it higher visibility and accessibility for use from sites.

Current 'Age Calculator' link:

Suggested upgrades:

  • Change URL so it is not project specific (https://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/Age_calc/age_calculator.html)
  • Add dropdown with list of projects to default back to specific project 'Age range' settings (Settings specified on backend)
  • Add one new column for each current column on window table ('Start Date'; 'End Date') with dropdown specifying current window modifier. Dropdown would allow users to select from a range of window modifiers per visit and window (Start/End; Optimal/Permitted), which would modify the window date accordingly. Dropdown fields would initially default to selected project on the 'Project' dropdown.
  • Notes specific to each project could be displayed based on the selected project.

Modify introductory text as follows:

  • Title: "Visit Window Age Calculator"
  • Introduction: "The Window Age Calculator - Millenium Edition (WAC-ME) is a useful tool for recruitment and visit scheduling. Click on the 'Date of Birth' box to use the pop-up calendar and select the corresponding 'project' for the participant to create all of the Window dates. Specific window ranges can be modified by using the 'Window age range' to select the new age range for the corresponding window and visit."
