Optional no-panel, command view mode, available as layout option when no sub-shell is active.

An fully editable command line is presented, including access to the prompt history and file edit/view functions. The Command prompt visibility on the primary panel is independent from the Command view panel. In addition, similar to the primary panel, the Key bar is optionally visible on both. Note: support is dependent on an active cons.saver.

Functionality is a reproduction of the original Ctrl-O no-panel mode of Norton Commander.

Full implementation is not currently practicable, without filemanager changes, since the filesystem operations (copy, move, delete etc) file have extensive bindings to the panel widgets; possibility a pseudo panel or interface can be created allowing future access. Furthermore a context specific User-menu and a limited Pull Down menu.
