One nice to have, but in my opinion less important, function would be the ability to create stacked fan views. The full extent of a lot of the target anomalies in this project needed 10-40 pings to get a full idea of morphology, which is why GIF animations (that can be found in the project GitHub, linked from the thesis) of consecutive pings were created. So a function that allows the user the define a first and last ping of a consecutive sequence in the currently viewed line, and then averaging the backscatter response of those fans into a single fan could be useful for visualisation in certain cases.
