could potentially be implemented via haxelib thing, but i will put it here for now!

when setting / changing the ref in a git haxelib, it overrides the git folder in the haxelib directory. however this can often lead to unnecessary downloads! Especially unhappy when downloading something like lime, which can take a while to download the git version! could potentially use it by downloading via git, but saving it as a development directory, and then just switching it by reassinging the folder (if it exists) or maybe something with the git history?
