Download Handler Extension

A lightweight browser extension that enhances your Ascendara experience. When enabled, it automatically detects downloads from supported providers and sends them straight to Ascendara - making downloads up to 50% faster! No manual intervention needed.

🚀 Get it for your browser

• A Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Arc, Edge, etc.)
• Developer mode enabled in extensions

1. Download the Extension

   git clone https://github.com/ascendara/extension.git
   # Or download ZIP from the green 'Code' button

2. Install in Browser

   • Open your browser's extension management page
   • Enable "Developer mode"
   • Click "Load Unpacked"
   • Select the downloaded extension folder

1. Install and enable the extension
2. When a download starts, you'll get a prompt to open Ascendara
3. Check "Always open in Ascendara" for future convenience
4. Click "Open in Ascendara" to start your download

💡 Pro tip: Use Arc Browser for the best experience with built-in ad and popup blocking.
