I am a user of ClamWin Free Antivirus and appreciate the effort put into developing this free tool. I am passionate about retro computing and mainly use Windows XP 64x, an older but still functional operating system for me.

I have some suggestions to significantly improve the functionality and efficiency of ClamWin, taking into account the specifics of my usage.

First, adding real-time protection would be extremely useful. I understand that this might be a challenge on an older operating system like Windows XP 64x, but it would provide much more robust protection against current threats. Currently, scanning is only done manually, which means a virus could infect the system before I scan it. Active protection, which constantly monitors files and system activity, would be ideal.

Secondly, I would like ClamWin to be able to automatically detect infected files if the system is already compromised. Ideally, the program should automatically quarantine or delete them, after a prior warning. I understand that some users may want to recover files from quarantine, so it would be important to have an option to restore them.

I hope you will consider my suggestions, even though I am using an older operating system. I believe that these improvements would make ClamWin a much more competitive and efficient antivirus, even for users of older operating systems. Thank you for your attention!
