StakingManager.sol had a compilation error, because of wrong return types.

The functions, delegate and cancelUnbondingDelegation return a bool instead of an int64.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Refactor
    • Modified staking operations to provide a boolean success indicator rather than a time-based value, offering clearer feedback on transaction outcomes.

Walkthrough

The pull request updates the StakingManager contract by changing the return types of two functions. Both the stakeTokens and cancelUnbondingDelegation methods have been modified to return a boolean value (bool success) instead of an int64 completionTime. The underlying logic remains unchanged, as the functions still delegate the actions to the STAKING_CONTRACT.

Poem

I’m a coding bunny with a skip and a hop,
Tweaking return types—now they never stop.
From int64 to bool, the change is in sight,
My whiskers wiggle with pure delight.
Hopping through code, all is functionally right!

38-39: Return type correctly changed from int64 to bool to match STAKING_CONTRACT.delegate's return type

The return type change from int64 completionTime to bool success fixes the compilation error mentioned in the PR objectives. This aligns with the actual return type of the delegate function in StakingI.sol.

Note that this creates an inconsistency between this function (returning bool) and other similar functions like redelegateTokens and unstakeTokens (returning int64). Verify if this inconsistency is expected or if the other functions might need similar adjustments in the future.

67-68: Return type correctly changed from int64 to bool to match cancelUnbondingDelegation's return type

The return type change from int64 completionTime to bool success fixes the compilation error mentioned in the PR objectives. This aligns with the actual return type of the cancelUnbondingDelegation function in StakingI.sol.
