Sometimes, quite often, opening submenus created off the main systray menu will crash the wf-panel-pi on raspios.

Issue is reproducible with the systray/example program on raspios.

I'm running the 2025-05-06-raspios-bookworm-arm64.img image with kernel 6.6.85 via qemu-system-aarch64 on MacOS 15.1.1. I followed this post for the setup instructions.

The ~/.xsession-errors file fills up with these errors when the crash occurs:
