I am seeing a problem with colors when on macOS only, on Linux or Windows it is fine. Actually on the macOS I see the problem on a retina display, I cannot say for other kind of displays.

What happen is that the colors seems to be quickly saturated and this create a soft of visual effect of strong reflective surfaces. See the image below, all taken from macOS.

I suspect a pixel format mismatch but I don't know for sure! Any help is welcome. I may try to solve the problem myself if I am given some directions to get started.
