In an effort to better understand how people use Meli, we're adding Posthog, and open source and privacy friendly analytics platform. To get a better overview of which versions are being used and how many active installations of Meli are out there, your installation will now be sending a ping to our PostHog server once a day, with the version number of your installation.

You can opt-out of this feature by setting the MELI_POSTHOG_ENABLED environment variable to false.

Our documentation will also be updated so that you transparently see what is being collected and why we collect it.
