The briefly available tag 3.5.0 is not a release #2758

Description

@Pannoniae

(Background: I am one of the Debian/Ubuntu package maintainers for glfw)

I noticed that 3.5.0 was tagged:
https://github.com/glfw/glfw/releases/tag/3.5.0

But:

  • The tagged commit is not on the master branch
  • All the usual release things have not happened (like the changelog, website, etc)

So has the release actually happened or was the tag a mistake?

A few distros (most notably Arch + its derivatives) already updated to 3.5.0: https://repology.org/project/glfw/history
