I'm a developer that primarily uses Windows, and Open Sans looks fine on that machine. I recently got a new Mac Mini and I'm getting an issue with Open Sans Normal 400 on OSX. This is what I am seeing when looking at Open Sans online.

If I download the font from Google Fonts and install it into Font Book, it looks normal.

Any idea why the web font rendering differently than the installed font for Normal 400 on OSX?
