with my limited coding ability I mananaged to:
device works like a dream with the exception of I'm still not able to figure out how to get a mouse with keyboard keys (because it's a composite device I'm assuming) to work properly. |

I bought the hardware through elecrow and flashed with the latest firmware. I'm amazed how well it works.
It's not currently in a state that is usable for me, but will definately hang on to this in case one day the hiccups that don't work for me get some wort of solution.
-I have a bajillion monitors, so staying exclusively in gaming mode and toggling with a hotkey is the only thing that works. in fact it works perfectly. It would be really nice to beable to change what the hotkeys are without having to code and recompile it. I'd personally set it to the hot keys to like F13 to F24 just to avoid any weird things happening (especially that hot key with capslock....)
-Where it kinda falls apart for me is the "mice with a bajillion buttons) lack of support. my mouse has 12 button on the side that simply output 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0-[-] . I use these for work a lot. the moment I hit one of them, the entire system basically goes haywire. this is on a mouse with onboard memory; there is no software on the other side. if there was a way to make this one feature work (mice with extra buttons), this would basically be perfect solution.
anyways, amazing project even if I can't use it yet. will donate to doctors without borders. hopefully it continues to get updates and so I can stop using Synergy.
