What should happen

The GTRemastered plugin by @Kethen makes playing Gran Turismo 2009 a much, MUCH better experience. However, using one stick for both Throttle and Brake is a little too impractical for someone who played a lot of racing simulators before. If possible, there could be a set of customizable single-axis sliders for the on-screen controls that can be bound to any axis on either emulated joysticks, and have its range adjusted to suit the game and one's playstyle

Who would this benefit

Pretty much every player who use the aforementioned plugin to play Gran Turismo specifically. I don't see it benefitting other games, but one can experiment to come up with unique layouts that suits both the game and their playstyle

The PC Remote app by Monect is a great example. I've used it to play Assetto Corsa and other simulators with great successes
