Stale thumbnail previews show the last local video when playing non-local video #2136

Expected behavior:
Thumbnail previews are shown for the currently playing media. If not applicable, no thumbnails are shown.
Actual behavior:
Thumbnails are shown for the most recent local video file played in this app instance while subsequently playing a non-local video.

Steps to reproduce:
Play a local video file and confirm that thumbnails are available. Then play a remote video, e.g. over SMB. The thumbnails from the first video are still available when hovering over the timeline.
How often does this happen?
Very often if not always.
