Even if I set FLOAT32 for the capture format, I'm receiving 16-bit integers in return. This causes occasional crashes of the interpreter but is mostly problematic because floats don't seem to be usable at all.

This is miniaudio 1.55 on macOS 12.6.2 on Apple M1. Same behavior with Python 3.9.12 and 3.10.4. Tried both Fireface UFX II and BlackHole 16ch, same behavior.

Not sure where the problem lies, let me know what else you need to repro.
