Hello Istio Community!

The 1.28 release branch cut is planned for this Wednesday, the 15th of October, 2025.

No new feature requests will be accepted to the 1.28 release branch from that time unless approved by TOC. Bug fixes will need to be cherry-picked into the release branch and must pass all tests to be approved. For questions related to PRs that need to be cherry-picked, use the Slack channel for the 1.28 release.
