I wanted to list some external references for jpeg2000.

Since jpeg2000 is a standard (ISO/IEC 15444) it would be nice to allow any contributor access to the standards documents. However the latest version of the standard are ISO/IEC documents that requires payment. I'm not sure how many contributors would be willing to pay to access the documents. The standard is also available from the ITU as part of the T.800 series. The ITU freely distributes older versions of the standards.
