lxc.system.conf(5) states "This configuration file is used to set values such as default lookup paths and storage backend settings for LXC." However, AFAICT, it is currently not possible to set a default storage backend type.

It would be nice if a default could, indeed, be set.
It would also be nice (I think) if the default were 'best' (in which case setting a different default may not even be necessary).
Until this is added, it would be nice if the man page were clearer about this...
