Double clicking does not work when mapped to a button #1069

@Tamas1337

Description

@Tamas1337

Information

  • ratbagd version (ratbagd --version): 0.18
  • Piper version: 0.8-2
  • Distribution: CachyOS (Arch-based)
  • Device: Logitech G502X wired
  • Kernel version: Linux 6.16.8-2-cachyos x86_64 GNU/Linux

Describe the bug
When the double-click function gets mapped to e.g. the button right next to my left mouse click, (G7 on the mouse) it does not in any way actually double click, it just behaves like I disabled the button.

To Reproduce
Map doubleclick to any button and said button does not do anything after doing this.

Logs
There isn't a straight error I'm getting so putting a log up here doesn't seem to be helpful.

Additional context
Nothing else really to say about this, except for assigning even the mousewheel to a button does not work. I did NOT build libratbag and piper myself as I tried that 2 weeks ago (on linux mint at that time) and was pulling out my hair, because the latest version wasn't available from the package manager apt, pacman however does have the latest one.
