Currently uses minpack.lm::nlsLM
Package needs development to allow fitting using maximum likelihood approaches to allow for non-normal error distribution.
Likely best to use fitted parameters from current approach (minpack.lm::nlsLM) as starting parameters in a new set of function (ie. two steps).
