First digit of queue overlapped by activity indicator if reporter = "summary" in tar_make() #364

Description

Prework

  • Read and agree to the code of conduct and contributing guidelines.
  • Confirm that your issue is most likely a genuine bug in the targets package itself and not a user error, a known limitation, or a bug in another package that targets depends on. For miscellaneous troubleshooting, please post to the discussions instead.
  • If there is already a relevant issue, whether open or closed, comment on the existing thread instead of posting a new issue.
  • Post a minimal reproducible example like this one so the maintainer can troubleshoot the problems you identify. A reproducible example is:
    • Runnable: post enough R code and data so any onlooker can create the error on their own computer.
    • Minimal: reduce runtime wherever possible and remove complicated details that are irrelevant to the issue at hand.
    • Readable: format your code according to the tidyverse style guide.

Description

When I build a targets pipeline using tar_make(reporter = "summary"), the first digit of the number in the queue column is overlapped by the activity indicator. See the screenshot. The | below the q from queue hides a 1 here.

I'm working on Windows.

Reproducible example

# temporary working directory
setwd(tempdir())

# packages
library(targets)
#> Warning: package 'targets' was built under R version 4.0.4
library(visNetwork)
#> Warning: package 'visNetwork' was built under R version 4.0.3

# _targets.R
tar_script(
  code = list(
    tar_target(n_random, rep(1, 1500)),
    tar_target(random, runif(n_random), pattern = map(n_random))
  ),
  ask = FALSE
)

tar_make(reporter = "summary")
#> queue  | start  | skip   | built  | cancel | error  | warn
#> |482   | 1      | 1      |        |        |        |
# Note: The table was faked here, because `reprex` just appended all table updates into a very long string.
# You only see the problem in an interactive session.

Expected result

I would suggest to indent the summary tabe by two characters. Then, there would be the activity indicator, a blank space and then the summary table.
