When using select2 with multiple, clicking the select box allows you to immediately type or search, which is very convenient.
But when using single select (without multiple), clicking the select box first opens a dropdown, and only after clicking again on the search box can you start typing.
This makes the user experience less smooth for single select compared to multiple select.

Is it possible to make single select behave like multiple select, so that clicking the select box allows immediate typing/searching, without needing a second click?
