Remove the #atom-everything fragments from post URLs in the Atom feeds #550

@ole

Description

@ole

I really enjoy reading your blog.

I noticed that the entries in your Atom feeds all have a URL fragment attached to their URLs, such as #atom-everything or #atom-entries. For example, the link associated with https://simonwillison.net/2025/Aug/15/gpt-5-has-a-hidden-system-prompt/ in the feed is https://simonwillison.net/2025/Aug/15/gpt-5-has-a-hidden-system-prompt/#atom-everything (or similar, depending on the feed).

I find these mildly annoying because I "have to" take care to remove these before sharing a link to your site from my feed reader. (I know I don't really have to do this, but I like clean URLs and my OCD says otherwise.)

May I ask what the purpose of these fragments is? Would it be possible for you to remove them? It's not a big deal either way, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
