Failures when `delete-by-moving-to-trash` is set

With `delete-by-moving-to-trash` set, pressing`K` fails with

```
delete-directory: Directory is not empty, not moving to trash
```

and when tried again on the same item, it fails repeatedly with

```
move-file-to-trash: Removing old name: No such file or directory, [...]
```
