I'm an experienced software engineer, focused on build engineering and developer experience.

I have worked on some of the largest Gradle builds in the world, with thousands of subprojects, on both the JVM and Android, and have saved them from collapsing under their own weight—and they remain productive years later. I helped popularize the terms "convention plugin" and "conventional builds," which is how one creates sustainable builds.

My primary open source focus is on Gradle plugins and libraries that help maintain healthy builds and make developing Gradle plugins easier. They include the Dependency Analysis Gradle Plugin, the Gradle Dependencies Sorter, and the Gradle TestKit Support Plugin, among others.

I'm also an active blogger and occasional conference-speaker.

If you use my tools or enjoy my writing, please consider sponsoring me!
