When writing this, December 2024, the recent crash of the technical hiring bubble of the early 2020s and post-COVID ageism has made me struggle to find work. In my 60s, my savings are gone, and I'm trying to build a new company that will allow me to survive and pay it forward by helping non-profits if I can get enough income to survive comfortably.

• My father died a pauper, and I grew up in a no-frills lower middle-class family
• My severe ADHD, which was diagnosed in my 50s, had a positive and negative impact on my career
• I will use the funds to build an AI company that pays the bills, then transition into creating non-profits that can use AI to help with mental health challenges and neurodivergence issues and improve corporate culture.

The first project is to use AI in the patent space. Others have tried and failed, or big players like IBM offer costly solutions that small or medium businesses or individuals cannot use. I want a product anyone can use to affordably create, defend, or litigate their patents.
