Which implies the name of the app is called tasks.org
This makes things very confusing.

And IMO it could use some clarifycation:
The main thing is that it does not explain if this privacy policy is for using the app or the website or both.

Eg it says:

Is this for if one registers for task.org or uses a task.org account in the app or does it mean the app itself?

Your e-mail address is stored in order to send important service announcements. It is not used for any other purpose, and it is not shared with anyone

Is this email address stored in the server of the site or in the app?

Tasks.org does not share data with any third parties
Tasks.org collects anonymous usage statistics (see below)
Some features are subject to third party privacy policies (see below)

This pertains to the website/domain right? If so, it does not apply to the app. Or since the app is also called Tasks.org, does this apply to the app. If so, what about the website.

Etc.

My suggestion would be to have this:

** Privacy policy for the app if you do sync the app with any server

• Your data is shared with 3rd party servers (not sure if this is correct, but you would know, you could fill this in)

This is not at all explained, and since f-droid will give people the impression that tasks.org is the name of the app, but you also have a domain called tasks.org, it is confusing to know which parts of the privacy policy applies to the app, and which to the domain/site.

The privacy policy only pertains to tasks.org the app.

Tasks.org the website is a static site (github.com/tasks/docs), you can't register or sign in to it, and I am not using any analytics on it. I never wrote a privacy policy for it.

If you select the tasks.org option when signing in it will create a tasks.org account, which also requires a Google Play subscription or GitHub sponsorship. If you use the app offline, or use a self-hosted or third-party sync service, then you don't have a tasks.org account
