  • Cherry-picked many fix commits to get 2.8 to build
  • Created xcframeworks with create_frameworks.sh
  • Manually removed *.modulemap and sibling header JavaInject.xcframework and JSR305.xcframework to avoid duplicate symbols
  • Replaced frameworks created from make -j8 frameworks with these new xcframeworks to avoid having to import libs and add linker flags
  • Makefile is updated to only build needed architectures
  • Removed -Werror flag from common Makefile
