termux-wifi-connectioninfo - exec: /system/bin/app_process: Operation not permitted on Samsung One UI 7 #315
Description
Problem description
termux-wifi-connectioninfo does not run properly under proot on Samsung One UI 7 devices, instead giving this error and freezing:
/data/data/com.termux/files/usr/bin/am: 30: exec: /system/bin/app_process: Operation not permitted
The aforementioned command runs properly in strace. Same goes for running any binaries in /system/bin inside proot.
PROOT_VERBOSE=9 output is in another comment due to its length.
Steps to reproduce
Install Termux:API app and termux-api package
Install Ubuntu proot with pd install ubuntu
Login to Ubuntu proot with pd sh ubuntu
Run termux-wifi-connectioninfo in Ubuntu shell
Expected behavior
termux-wifi-connectioninfo shows Wi-Fi connection info.
