Hi @MP70 Thanks for using Ubicloud and for the suggestion! At the moment, we donβt have plans to offer burstable runners. Ubicloud runners already deliver stronger performance at about 1/10th of the cost. About queue times, our P75 is 27 seconds. We typically provision a VM for your runner in under 20 seconds, and GitHub takes around 8 seconds to assign a job to it. We use Cloud Hypervisor to create VMs with dedicated, isolated cores. While itβs not quite as fast to spin up as Firecracker, we believe it's a better fit for supporting runners in general. With that being said, we always look into ways to improve provisioning times and we may revisit using something like Firecracker in the future. |

I wonder if you would consider allowing us to use burstable instances for GitHub actions where we are network/disk latency bound (e.g waiting for things to occur) or doing very very light things (e.g npm ci; npm run build).
I also have been noticing that it takes 30s to be assigned a runner, which strikes me as an extraordinarily long time. Have you considered using firecracker for this task, I've had it sub second in this setup before.
