Description
I am trying to install Indexd using Dockerfile, here is the console output
Step 12/14 : RUN COMMIT=`git rev-parse HEAD` && echo "COMMIT=\"${COMMIT}\"" >$appname/index/version_data.py && VERSION=`git describe --always --tags` && echo "VERSION=\"${VERSION}\"" >>$appname/index/version_data.py && python setup.py install

fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git
The command '/bin/sh -c COMMIT=`git rev-parse HEAD` && echo "COMMIT=\"${COMMIT}\"" >$appname/index/version_data.py && VERSION=`git describe --always --tags` && echo "VERSION=\"${VERSION}\"" >>$appname/index/version_data.py && python setup.py install' returned a non-zero code: 128
It gives error at this 12th step. Please help
