I suggest that we start with few cases to test for existing and new features.

The default configuration (channel with flat bottom, constant wind) could be packaged as the "channel" test case. A seaice test case could be a a channel with a Gaussian patch of fice in the middle. Similar for subgrid islands once we have them in.

So we'd have something like:

umwm/
  tests/
    channel/
    obstructions/
    seaice/
