The Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health, School of Medicine, Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rady School of Management, and School of Global Policy & Strategy will hold their own individual commencement ceremonies.
Participation Requirements
In order to participate in the 2026 GEPA commencement ceremonies, you must meet the following requirements:
- Graduates of Fall 2025 or Winter, Spring or Summer 2026 are eligible to participate.
- Complete the Commencement Registration form. Registration will open in April 2026.
- Fulfill all degree requirements before the end of the summer 2026 quarter: Saturday September 5, 2026.
- Ph.D., Ed.D., D.M.A., D. Aud., M.F.A., and Master's candidates must successfully defend their dissertation or thesis and submit all final paperwork to GEPA for approval.
- Education Studies Credential students must have completed all credential program requirements.
- Order regalia from the UC San Diego Bookstore. Visit their website for more information on how to purchase these items and for details around Grad Fair.
