Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu toured Magen David Adom's National Headquarters in Ramla today, visiting the underground Blood Bank, emergency dispatch center, and meeting with EMTs and volunteers who responded during Operation "Am K'Lavi - Rising Lion." During his visit, Netanyahu met with MDA personnel who treated hundreds of casualties from Iranian missile attacks, including volunteer EMT Dalia Farihat, who saved a critically wounded 16-year-old with neck shrapnel, and Daniel Stein, who evacuated casualties after his own home was struck. Prime Minister Netanyahu: "What you've done and continue to do is unmatched anywhere in the world. MDA is the best emergency service in the world—because of people like you. I want to express heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Government of Israel and the citizens of Israel." MDA Global President Gilad Erdan: "While Israeli citizens run for shelter during Red Alert sirens—these extraordinary people run toward danger, not to hide, but to help and save lives." The visit highlighted MDA's critical role during national emergencies, with teams providing lifesaving care under fire while risking their own safety to serve the people of Israel.
