TREK FOR A CAUSE!

The urge of youngsters to travel and explore the world can be utilized for a social cause.

Trek for a Cause is an initiative by Kites to promote social volunteering through traveling.
It involves a volunteer call, registration, trekking along with solving a cause.

A youth collective is using its passion for traveling to create a social impact, bring change, and ensure responsible tourism through Trek for a Cause.

Tree of life - there is hope!

KITES India joins hands with Aster DM Healthcare and DQF to launch Tree of Life, a noble initiative for children from underprivileged sections of our society

The project will assure quality healthcare, accessible to children by providing life-saving surgeries and necessary interventional procedures free of cost across Kerala.
To help their families from the vicious cycle of poverty that could arise from mounting medical costs.

Tree of Life caters to Pediatrics Surgeries exclusively for underprivileged children. The initiative secures the beneficiaries advanced treatments and post-operative care.

BOOKFARM!

We intend to rebuild and set up well-functioning libraries across Kerala by collaborating with the Library Council, various NGOs, and reading clubs in the stat

Bookfarm is an initiative to rescue libraries that are struggling for proper funds and maintenance and to build new ones for reviving the passion of reading among all sections.
It is to tackle the divide in the accessibility of libraries and learning opportunities between the privileged and weaker sections.

Book Farm plans to rebuild and set up well-functioning libraries in every district of Kerala in two years.

Munnar VIBGYOR Tourism

Kites Foundation in association with District Administration, Idukki has initiated a Tourism development project in Munnar.

The tourism project was launched by Shri.M.M Mani and Shri.C Ravindranath Honorable Ministers of Power and Education respectively.
Hello Munnar, a progressive web app designed for the ease of information access was also launched in the ceremony.

The project seeks to improve the discoverability of Munnar by providing necessary route based informations to the tourists. For an enhanced tourism experience, Seven routes have been identified in Munnar which are aptly described by the seven rainbow colours, The VIBGYOR.

Umeed - Hands of hope

Amidst covid 19 pandemic kites Foundation initiated project meet encouraging people to donate towards the educational support of children.

Umeed lends a helping hand for the underprivileged children to fulfill the need for a better education.
Around a thousand children from 10 states were benefited from project Umeed.

Summer Pots - Feed the voiceless !

The searing heat due to harsh summers is making the lives of these innocent creatures more vulnerable.

The Summer Pots campaign is a Kites Initiative to protect animals from summer strokes.
It involves placing a pot of water in our surroundings. The campaign witnessed a participation of more than a thousand people across India and abroad.

Kites Foundation has undertaken this initiative so as to make sure that these voiceless animals stay hydrated.

Sumedha - Library and Reading Room

The objective of Sumedha, our higher education Project is to expose participating individuals to better higher education possibilities.

An open, full-fledged and integrated reading room facility was opened in Kerala for students who are preparing for Competitive Exams.
It was inaugurated by Honourable Minister for Education, Kerala Shri. C. Raveendranath.

Kites foundation believe that socio-economic background of a student must not be a barrier for their career.
